Testimonials…

“I’ve been fortunate enough to know and work with Mike for over 25 years now. From working with him on theatre auditions for The Country House at the Geffen, which earned me a Best Actor Ovation nomination and took me to Broadway… to TV and Film auditions for a variety of things, including Escape At Dannemora, which earned me a Critic’s Choice nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Limited Series… Mike has been my lucky charm!  He always operates from the ground up. Who are you? What do you want? What’s in your way? What do you do to get what you want? The basics. But he relays the ideas and asks just the right questions to help your own imagination take you in a direction you are not only able to PLAY… but you are genuinely excited to do so. I could go on and on, but I’ll leave it at this: if you have a chance to work with Mike, take it.”

“I began coaching with Mike Ostroski in January of 2016. The year prior, I auditioned regularly with not one callback, so as we entered 2016, I was a bit down trodden. One month into our weekly coaching sessions, I booked my first television role on Jane the Virgin (the CW), sparking a year of callbacks, pins, and bookings. I went from zero callbacks, to 1 pin, 1 avail and 4 bookings. In addition to the Jane the Virgin role, I booked a co-starring role on the new comedy series Loosely Exactly Nicole (MTV), Rosewood (FOX), and a supporting role on the feature film American Exit, staring Dane Cook and Levi Miller; I was pinned for The New Edition Story (BET), and on avail for a national commercial for Coppertone running during the Olympics.

Mike provided a foundation and structure to the audition process that I was lacking. Often times, meeting multiple times a week to coach my auditions, in addition to our weekly private lessons. He was as committed to my growth as I am, challenging me and always providing me with sound constructive criticism.

The time and money I spent working with Mike was one of the best things I ever done for my career.”

“Mike Ostroski's class will turn your perspective of auditioning and acting on its head. Real tangible tools for working actors that come from an incredibly kind, artistic, and intelligent source. Will challenge you to be the actor you want to be, which makes it worth more than every penny."
